Closing Out 2018

Merry Christmas Eve!

So, I have some explaining to do. I haven’t posted anything since January, when 11 months ago I was expecting this year to be full of blog posts. I also expected to publish my sixth book this year. Nothing happened like I expected it to.

I changed my major in my second semester of college from computer science to elementary education. Thankfully, I managed to retain a 3.5 GPA in order to keep my scholarship. I ended up taking two spring courses, and a summer course. I got a job at OU admissions, and moved in a week before the start of the fall semester to start job training there. I started my semester and instantly took a liking to all of my classes. Coursework was still hard work, but achievable. I got As in all of my classes. Something else unbelievable happened too. I applied for a position as an RA for next school year, but I got an interview for a position next semester! I got the job and moved all of my things over into my new room. Now, I’m preparing for the new year in my new job.

What hasn’t changed? Well, I still love to write and read. In fact, I’ve had my 6th book sitting in my laptop files for who knows how long.

I’ve decided that before the year is up, that book will be published.

This may be the last book I’ll ever publish, or maybe I’ll publish more someday. Either way, it’s been a great ride. So, please look out for my new book that will hopefully publish before 2019.

Merry Christmas!
