Book Review: Die For Me

Today I’ve come upon the realization that I am very bad at going out of my book comfort zone. My usual niche is young adult action/romance, but I know that there’s good books out there that are categorized into different genres.

So, if there’s any certain books that you want to recommend me, or if you’re an author wanting to get your book out there, comment below or email me with requests.

But… without further ado here’s my latest review.

So, I have a confession to make. I actually read this series of books years ago and fell in love. Recently, I found the books in my iCloud account and reread them. So, consequently this review isn’t so much a first impression as it is a book appreciation post.

This series, written by Amy Plum, features a young girl (Kate) and her sister traveling to France to live with their grandparents after their parents had been killed in a car accident. It is in France that she comes across a very handsome Vincent and his band of strange friends.

I’ll give you a hint. He’s a supernatural being. But he’s not a vampire or werewolf, so it does switch it up a bit.

I love love love the plot line in this series. It’s enough to keep you guessing without keeping you too in the dark.

Also I love the characterization in this series. These are some of my all-time favorite characters.

But in saying all of this, if you’re not into romance then this probably isn’t the book for you. While it does feature some awesome action scenes, the majority of this story is romance.

I’d recommend this series for any teenage readers. It’s very well written, and all three books are out, so no waiting on cliffhangers!!
