So, it’s been a rough week. It hasn’t necessarily been a bad week, but it’s been very, very busy. I haven’t been able to work on my novel for a number of days, so consequently I will not be able to achieve the 50,000 words goal.
But that’s okay. Even though I would have liked to have more time to complete the novel, my schedule for this month was way too busy to do so.
This doesn’t mean that I won’t finish the novel, I will be working on it when time allows me and the Camp NaNo in April is also a great time to get it in.
If you’re in the same position as me, don’t beat yourself up about it. You tried your best, but sometimes things just don’t work out. There’s still a few days left for you to get in your final word counts.
Whether you have 500 words or 40,000 words you still have more words than you had at the beginning of this journey.
Finish out your last days boldly, because you are one of the 2016 NaNo WriMo participants, and not many people can say that.
