NaNo Pep Talk #1

Today is the first day of NaNo WriMo. Today you will start your month long writing journey.

It will be hard, you won’t want to do it, but in the end, if you hold out, it will be a great accomplishment.

50,000 words in 30 days is no easy feat. Keep in mind that you need to write 1,667 words a day to keep on track.

Write anything and everything that you want to write this month. It doesn’t have to make sense or be grammatically perfect yet. You only have to write words.

Don’t sit idle in front of a computer or your notebook because that won’t get you anywhere. Instead, participate in NaNo word sprint or ask for help from a NaNo coach.

This will be the best month of the year if you allow it to be.

So work hard, and you’ll be rewarded.

Try your best, because you’ll be able to say “I wrote a novel in 30 days”.

Be proud of yourself, because this is a challenge that only the most driven people can accomplish.
Today is the day that you and thousands of other writers will embark on a special adventure through your novel.

Make the most of it.
Happy NaNo WriMo!
