Book Review: The Fall of Five

I have one word for this book: insane. Even though in the review for the last book I complained that the series was winding down, this book has totally revitalized my interest in the series.

There were two HUGE plot twists in this book that were totally unexpected. Also, there was never a dull moment. I didn’t ever feel like the book was dragging on.

But, I thought the beginning was a little strange. The last book left off on a high tense action scene, but this book begins after the action scene has taken place. I thought that was a little strange, but I didn’t really have an issue with it.

What I did have an issue with was the perspective changes. I read this book on my phone for free from the library. The text fonts did not change between the different perspectives, so I had no way to tell who was talking until a little into the chapter or even into the paragraph.

I requested the next book in the series, and I also requested the book The Rose Society, which is the sequel to The Young Elites.

Hoping to do some more reading soon-especially with a new Quinn Loftis novel coming out.

Happy Reading!
